MailSlurp provides developer-focused messaging infrastructure (email, SMS, phone numbers, testing, and automation tooling). The Services are multi-tenant, shared, and not designed for regulated or mission-critical workloads.
Customer controls all data, messaging content, integrations, and end-user behaviour. Customer is solely responsible for consent, compliance with communications laws, list hygiene, security of credentials, and lawful use.
Customer is the data controller; MailSlurp is the processor. Data may be processed globally. Optional regional message storage applies only to SMTP message bodies. Logs, metadata, phone/SMS data, analytics, and operational telemetry may be processed in any jurisdiction.
MailSlurp implements reasonable technical and organisational measures, but does not guarantee prevention of incidents or data loss. Customer is responsible for backups, redundancy, and end-to-end system design.
There are no SLAs, no uptime guarantees, and no service credits. APIs, features, and integrations may change. The platform is provided “as-is” and “as-available.”
MailSlurp may hold voluntary certifications such as SOC 2 or equivalent, but such certifications do not create warranties or obligations. Use of the Services does not ensure Customer compliance with any law or framework.
MailSlurp’s liability is capped at fees paid in the preceding 12 months (or USD 5 for free/beta services). Indirect, consequential, and reputational damages are excluded. Customer provides broad indemnities for its data, messaging activity, regulatory exposure, and violations of law.
MailSlurp may suspend, restrict, or terminate access immediately for risk, abuse, non-payment, legal issues, or business reasons. MailSlurp has no duty to retain, export, or restore data following suspension or termination.
Order Forms record commercial terms only and do not modify the Master Agreement unless expressly amended in writing by an authorised officer of MailSlurp.
